Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) Americas EMMAs (Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards) 2017
On Thursday May 4 2017, International SOS was named the winner in four categories at the Americas EMMAs: Best use of Data Analytics within Global Mobility, Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility - Assignee Management, International Healthcare and Risk Management Provider of the Year and Thought Leadership – Best Survey or Research Study of the Year. The Awards were announced at the FEM Americas glamorous gala dinner at the Denver City Center Marriott, Denver, CO.
The FEM EMMAs are the premier awards for the global mobility and HR industry and following a highly successful two-day Summit, 200+ key figures, leaders and companies gathered to celebrate the brightest and best in the Americas.
Claire Tennant-Scull, Head of Content at FEM said:
“The FEM EMMAs really are the gold standard awards for the global mobility and international HR industry. They are the only truly global, yet region-specific awards with the greatest breadth of categories. It’s wonderful to see how much these accolades mean to everyone here – it’s really important to receive recognition among your peers for innovation and hard work.”
This, the 8th year of the FEM EMMAs, saw entries across 24 categories, including some which were new for 2017 and the independent judging panel made up of industry experts remarked on the high standard of the entries. Judged against a strict set of criteria, the competition for this award was fierce.
The judges commented on International SOS’s entries:
“There is no question - mitigating travel, health and security risks for the mobile workforce is the best use of data analytics. International SOS is a clear winner.”
“International SOS continues to provide a comprehensive set of services to employers and travellers. Their combination of knowledge, prevention, and solutions for incidents is invaluable.”
“This addresses a thankfully infrequent but certainly acute need. When a crisis arises, software like this from International SOS is needed.”
“The ISOS 2016 Travel Risk Map and the associated white paper are essential for ANY program serious about sending employees into foreign countries to work.”
FEM is very grateful to the EMMAs sponsors: Cambridge Global Payments, Crown World Mobility, Fragomen, International SOS, Oakwood Worldwide and to the panel of judges for their hard work and careful consideration.
Next year’s Americas EMMAs entries will open in December 2017 and entries are already open for the APAC EMMAs taking place in Hong Kong on September 7 (http://apac.forum-expat-management.com/awards) and EMEA in London on November 10. (http://emea.forum-expat-management.com/awards)
