The Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs) are the global mobility industry’s premier Awards. The Forum for Expatriate Management distributes EMMA awards to recognise industry leaders, business successes and rising stars.

International SOS was recognised for the value of their integrated travel risk mitigation services, including destination risk assessment, travel approval processes, travel risk education and travel tracking software.

In announcing the award, the EMMA judges commented:

“This is an exceptional nomination demonstrating how International SOS is using technology to keep assignees safe.  This project and service is responsive to customer needs and is leading edge in the industry.”

Rich Gallagher, Chief Digital Officer at International SOS, said:

“This award recognises us for our pioneering of travel risk management solutions. Our integrated approach is unique for traveller education and risk prevention, traveller tracking, incident response by experts, and for compliance. It is an honour for us to be recognised by the Forum for Expatriate Management for our work to make global mobility healthier, safer and more secure.”

International SOS helps employers with a globally mobile workforce reduce the likelihood and impact of major medical and security incidents to staff; while also assisting with compliance to legislation requiring organizations to look after the health and safety of employees at home and abroad.

The Forum for Expatriate Management unites the worldwide global mobility and HR professionals and leading corporate organizations via an online news and information portal, and annual calendar of frequent international events.

The EMMA judges assess nominations and select award winners based on evidence of meeting key needs within the global mobility market, comprehensive product functionality, user-friendliness, value and demonstrated results.
