Developed in conjunction with Schlumberger, the leading supplier of technology, integrated project management and information solutions in the oil and gas industry worldwide, the MedTrack Mobile App provides remote workers who have limited data connectivity with access to key personal health records from their mobile devices and smart phones. The mobile application is available on both Android and Apple platforms.

Richard Davies, Group CIO at International SOS, explains its value:

“International SOS provides its corporate clients with global medical prevention programs, including the management of pre-employment, pre-assignment and periodic medical examinations globally for mobile workforces.

The MedTrack Mobile program helps our clients to identify medical risks for their employees relating to their work in the specific country of assignment. It also demonstrates our continued innovation to deliver world-class services to clients, which reflect the needs of a globally mobile workforce to have vital personal health information available on the move.”

Alex Barbey, Chief Medical Officer at Schlumberger added:

“Schlumberger people work in often remote and challenging locations around the world and need to be fit for their operational location as well as fit for their job. Schlumberger employees have been part of the MedTrack program for more than 25 years. The recent development of the MedTrack Mobile App, which provides access to confidential medical information even in remote locations where there is no connectivity, is a major step forward in managing the health of our people.”

Aided by such advanced technology solutions, International SOS helps clients fulfil their duty of care responsibilities while also promoting beneficial health practices within the workforce and ensuring clients  remain competitive within the market.

Marking its 16th year of recognising innovation in the digital era, CIO Asia selected the winners and honourees of top Asian companies that have used modern channels of communication to transform their businesses to meet new competitive expectations and seize new opportunities for growth.
