International SOS has won the “Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility” award at the 2014 EMMAs.

The EMMAs (Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards) celebrate excellence in global mobility worldwide. They are billed as being the only international accolades that truly recognise the industry leaders, business successes and rising stars in the global mobility industry.

International SOS was announced as the winner at the EMEA awards ceremony in London on 7 November. It follows success in the same category in 2011.

In making their decision, the judging panel assessed the International SOS TravelTracker solution, its integration with TravelReady Plus and its seamless integration with the International SOS Assistance Centre platform.

They looked at the use of focus groups for client-driven product development as well as evidence of how TravelTracker was used during a major crisis.

The Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards judges said:

“International SOS demonstrated that in today’s uncertain world their technology is best in class for risk prevention rather than reactive response. The system can be used on a variety of devices which suits the modern world and is simple to use.”

Laurent Fourier, Regional Managing Director for Europe at International SOS said:
''This award recognises the partnership we have with our clients to improve and build usable technologies such as TravelTracker that mitigate health, safety and security risks to international assignees worldwide.”

TravelTracker 6 is a solution offered by International SOS and its joint venture partner Control Risks, enabling clients to assist their employees wherever they are in the world.

The advanced features are a gateway to the membership services of both companies - working together to offer the world’s most comprehensive medical and travel security solutions.
