MERS-COV confirmed in Thailand

The Ministry of Health in Thailand has confirmed a case of MERS-CoV. International SOS is closely monitoring the situation. 

International SOS members are encouraged to call their local Assistance Centre or visit the International SOS Member Zone for the latest information and advice. 

Travellers are reminded the following personal precautions during travel:
• Pay attention to hygiene (wash hands frequently, avoid touching your face and keep a safe distance from people who are coughing or sneezing). Proper hygiene will prevent many illnesses.
• Should you require medical assistance, call International SOS.
